Chinese learning app comparisons
Most comparisons of Chinese learning apps read as though the tools compete, and largely they do not. A dictionary, a reader, an SRS deck, and a course are four different jobs, and the reason a learner ends up dissatisfied is usually that they picked a good tool for the wrong one of them.
These comparisons are organised around that. Each one states what the tool is built to do first, then where its boundary is, then who is better served elsewhere. Pricing and feature counts change monthly and are the least durable thing about any of these apps, so they get less weight here than the shape of the workflow.
