Scheduling short-form video

Publishing the same vertical video to three platforms is four jobs: encode it once, meet three sets of format rules, write three captions inside three different character limits, and land each one at a time that suits that platform. None of it is difficult and all of it is repetitive, which is exactly the profile of work worth automating.

The platforms also disagree in ways that matter to a schedule. Some accept a genuine future publish time through their API and some only accept a reminder, and which of those you get changes whether "scheduled" means the post goes out on its own or means your phone buzzes. That distinction is the one most scheduling advice skips.

These posts cover the per-platform rules, the timing questions worth asking and the ones that are folklore, and what a workflow looks like when one person is doing all of it.
